The Windows is intended to provide a dedicated setting in a unique historic venue that is accessible to all and which fosters a wide range of creative and cultural expressions, both traditional and contemporary, for the benefit and value to the community.
Objectives
Purchase and repair the historic First Christian Church, built in 1926 and located on Third Street in Amory, MS.
Preserve and sustain the integrity of one of Amory's oldest structures for future generations of Amorians
Offer to members of the community a building with significant size and inviting ambience that can serve multiple purposes for a wide range of both community and/or private functions
Provide the community of Amory with a centrally located venue that both celebrates the city's heritage and embraces our future by hosting cultural events and artistic endeavors
